The Mouse That Roared, based in the settings of the 1950's, was written by Leonard Wibberley, .

Positive Content:
The Count of Mountjoy wants to be honest and detests the suggestion to water down the country's famous wine.

Spiritual Content:
None

Romance/Sexual Content:
Tully and Gloriana have *feelings* for eachother, a deck hand tells Tully he and the guys want to go see some American women, a policeman makes a sexual comment about Gloriana, Gloriana and Tully eventually get married.

Violence:
The book revolves around a war, Tully and his men shoot their longbows at General Snippet and the police officers, a policeman kills one of Tully's men.

Language:
H-ll is used two or three times.

Acoholic/Drug Content:
General Snippet's chief believes Snippet has been drinking when he reports that Men from Mars have landed in  New York. A comment is made about the subway stations selling out on their ciggarettes during an air raid practice alert.

Negative Content:
Many times throughout the book there are references to evolution.

Conclusion:
Even though there was some questionable content, I really enjoyed the book. When I first started reading it I thought I was going to have to make myself get through it, but by chapter two I was addicted! :)
Plus the book had large margins! The font was a little small but not too bad...
And if your know my preference for books you'll understand why I said that!

4 out of 5
